FIELD: heat-power engineering; thermal power plants. SUBSTANCE: furnace has prismatic combustion chamber with upper and lower burner units and ash hopper and inner and outer gastight shields arranged in combustion chamber which are mounted one inside other, thus forming central and peripheral combustion chambers; upper and lower parts of pipes of inner shield are provided with bypass ports; outlet section of each upper burner unit is brought into combustion chamber and is surrounded by circulating pipe; fitted before inlet butt of circulating pipe are nozzles supplying injecting agent and fuel; circulating pipe of each upper burner unit is mounted between inner and outer gastight tube shields and is directed along shields; circulating pipe has flat bevel cut directed to side opposite relative to bypass ports; injecting agent and highly inflammable fuel supply nozzles are located below on outer gastight tube shields; they are directed inside peripheral combustion chambers towards axis of circulating pipes; furnace is also provided with air nozzles, highly inflammable fuel and injecting agent supply pipes which are located at level of circulating pipe of each upper burner unit and are located at angle relative to its axis to center of flat bevel cut; splitter mounted inside circulating pipe is made in form of streamlined ball-shaped body. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of thermal preparation of carbon dust before combustion due to reduced ignition time. 3 dwg
