FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing food addition for feeding poultry, agriculture and domestic animals and fur wild animals also. For preparing the food addition collagen-containing raw of meat-processing plants is used: swine hides, beef veins, meat waste and meat crumbs. Raw is milled up to particle size 0.8-2.0 cm2 and subjected for an enzymatic hydrolysis for 2-3 h with endopeptidases: bacterial or fungal proteases or enzymes showing pepsin activity. Before hydrolysis the raw is suspended with mineralized water at ratio (1:1.5)-(1:2.5) at 45-50 C and medium pH is regulated with ortho-phosphoric acid or calcium hydroxide. In the process of hydrolysis pH value is maintained at the necessary level. Then mixture is neutralized, hydrolysis products are brought about to boiling and cooled. Fat and impurities are separated, concentrated to the content of dry matter 25-35% and dried. The obtained food addition has peptides (above 60%), free amino acids (15%, not above), amount of peptides of molecular mass above 1000 Da is 48-90% of total peptide mass and amount of amino acid is 30-52% of total mass of free amino acids.
