FIELD: initiation means, applicable for blasting operations both on earth surface and underground in mining, coal-mining industries, in construction. SUBSTANCE: initiating device uses a section of shock-wave tube, percussion primer interconnected by means of swaging through an elastic seal, and a bush made of strong heat-resistant material, for instance, metal. The bush is placed in the passage of the shock-wave tube in the zone of swaging so that the bush ends project beyond the boundary of the zone of swaging. The bush inner surface is coated with a layer of regulating explosive or mixture. The bush passage may accommodate a retarding device. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device functioning under action of high temperatures and hydrostatic pressure. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
