FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: power plant has housing, vertical main shaft with fitted on disk, cylinders in each of which rod is fitted connected with piston on its end dividing upper and lower parts of cylinder into above-piston and base spaces. Fuel injection nozzle are installed in above-piston spaces in upper part of each cylinder and are connected with fuel injection pumps mechanically coupled with cams of vertical main shaft. Cylinders combined into cylindrical unit are installed at equal distance from axis of main shaft. Walls of cylinders are provided with intake and exhaust ports. Piston rods have heels made for movement along groove on outer surface of disk. Plant has synchronizing device to provide uninterrupted contact of lower surface of heel and upper surface of disk, and plate over heels to hold heels on disk surface. EFFECT: two-fold increase in power plant capacity at the same speed, simplified design. 3 cl, 2 dwg
