FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to develop process controlling and maintaining power of radio frequency output signal in transmitter of search call operating in wide frequency range ( over 10.0 Mhz ) and wide temperature range from -30 to + 60 C. Value of power corresponding to voltage PDV of detected level of power of radio signal transmitted from base station and value of temperature corresponding to voltage TDV for measured temperature when signal is transmitted are displayed with the use of comparison table. Process involves: a) detection of voltage presenting power of radio signal during its transmission, search for values of power and temperature of transmission of radio signal in comparison table and display of values obtained during search for operator; b) analysis of frequency and temperature of transmitted radio signal and computation of final data of value of power of radio signal after compensation of value of power with use of first value of bias having power mismatch between real power and operation power set in advance corresponding to specific frequency range of wide frequency band and with use of second value of frequency bias for correction of power mismatch between real power and operation power corresponding to specific temperature range of wide interval of operation temperatures; c) comparison of computed final data of power and current data of operation power and control over power of transmitted radio signal.
