FIELD: photographic industry, in particular, process of manufacture of photographic emulsion. SUBSTANCE: method comprises the stage of production of germ emulsion and the stage of production of fine-grained emulsion, each of them is carried out by the method of controllable two-jet crystallization by introduction of solution of silver nitrate and solution of potassium bromide into aqueous gelatin solution at quantities pBr=1.3 to 1.6 and pBr=2.8 to 3.2 respectively, and the stage of physical aging, being notable for the fact that production of fine- grained emulsion is carried out in the obtained germ emulsion, or production of germ emulsion is carried out in the obtained fine-grained emulsion. EFFECT: reduced expenditures connected with production and saved working time at production of photographic materials with bromidosilver flat microcrystals. 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 9 ex
