FIELD: cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has housing with upper part where vacuum is created for collecting dust and contaminant, lower part onto which upper part is mounted for rotation, and members for coupling upper and lower parts of housing. One end of coupling members is fixed in center of housing lower part and other end has shaft connected for rotation with center of upper portion of lower part of housing. Bearing positioned between lower portion of upper part of housing and upper portion of lower part of housing is adapted for reducing frictional resistance between them and provided with races in upper surface of lower part, and balls disposed in races for free motion within them. Outer surfaces of balls are in contact with lower portion of upper housing part. Shaft has retainer for preventing shaft from extruding through shaft opening. Retainer has projection extending outside in parallel with longitudinal axis of lower part of housing and spring adapted to resiliently offset the projection. Vacuum cleaner is further provided with cleaning attachment, extension pipe and hose for connecting housing with cleaning attachment. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation by reduced loading of connecting hose and increased convenience in usage. 3 dwg
