FIELD: medical equipment, applicable at digital processing of signal about pulse. SUBSTANCE: method consists in transformation of luminous flux conditioned by diffusion on bloody tissue into an output electric signal, its numbering, storage and analysis with separation of artefacts and legitimate signal associated with physiologic pulses. Registered is the running value of the output electric signal in the form of a series of digital indications with a discreteness of at last 10 per second. Reference pulsation is determined from the obtained series, then in the mode of analysis on the current step a section with a duration of 1 to 3 s is selected, and, according to the specified criteria, the initial and final points of single pulsations are determined, coefficient of correlation between the reference and above single pulses is calculated. The amplitude of the above pulsations and noise dispersion are determined; in case of a coincidence with the mentioned criteria a conclusion is made on availability of physiological pulsations, conditioned by blood circulation.
