FIELD: mechanical engineering; dust control of gases. SUBSTANCE: cyclone has cylindrical housing, cover, spiral inlet branch pipe, exhaust branch pipe and dust collector. Height of inlet spiral branch pipe increases from 0.6-0.7D at inlet, where d is diameter of housing cylindrical part, to 0.75-0.85D at outlet. Height of cylindrical part of housing is 2-2.5D, height of conical part is 1.5-1.7D and lower diameter of conical part of housing is 0.8-0.9D. Cone can be installed under cover in cyclone along housing axis. Diameter of cone is 0.3-0.6D, and height is 0.7-1 D. EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance, increased operation reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
