FIELD: chemical and petroleum chemical industry, metallurgy, fuel and power engineering. SUBSTANCE: cyclone has cylindrical-conical housing with tangential inlet branch pipe, axial exhaust pipe, liquid inlet branch pipe, jacket-type heat-exchanger with liquid refrigerant supplying and discharge branch pipes. Axial exhaust pipe has helical tube with vertical equally spaced branch pipes arranged longitudinally of helical tube and adapted for supplying steam into housing, and stopper is positioned at lower end thereof. Along with mentioned fields of application, apparatus may be used in purification and recovery of flue gas and hot air heat in ecological processes.
