FIELD: equipment for removal from wire of scale, rust and other contaminants at different stages of production processes of wire working; ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: plant consists of underwinder, edge-welding machine, vacuum chamber and winder. Vacuum chamber has vacuum treatment system, pulling drums with opposite directions of rotation, circular electrodes, magnetic coils, pressure-seals of shafts of pulling drums, current leads, pressure-seal feed through, sealed leadout of wire, supply system of arcs and control system. EFFECT: higher productivity and quality of cleaning of wire surface due to increased speed of drawing and time of wire being under effect of arc cathode region, maintained temperature conditions and more reliable power supply to wire. 1 dwg
