FIELD: metallurgy, namely metal-matrix composition material, possibly used in machine engineering, particularly in automobile manufacture, electronics and electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: metal-matrix composition material includes matrix and reinforcing members. Matrix contains quasicrystalline material in quantity consisting (0.01-100)% of volume of the whole matrix. Quasicrystalline material may be placed in surface layer of composition material by depth equal at least to mean dimension of reinforcing members. Quasicrystalline material may be dispersed in volume of matrix. Matrix may be made of quasicrystalline material of Al-Cu-Fe or Ti-Zr-Ni system. Reinforcing members may be made of titanium nitride.
