FIELD: metallurgy of ferrous metals; may be used in production of iron and steel of various grades for manufacture of articles in tractor industry and mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: alloying composition contains the following components, wt.%: copper, 7-45; nickel, 1.2-30; chromium, 0.15-30; manganese, 0.20-0.50; aluminum, 0.05-0.50; silicon, 0.15-1.5; carbon, 0.05-1.3; molybdenum, 0.1-0.5; iron, the balance, with observation of conditions C+Si+Al+Mn+Mo≤2.5. EFFECT: high chemical homogeneity, low leaning to scattering, increased ability to granulation including fine fractions, higher percent of assimilation of alloying composition in iron and steel melting, and yield of alloy due to use alloying composition. 2 tbl
