FIELD: metallurgy, more particularly compositions of high-strength alloyed cast irons. SUBSTANCE: depending on chemical composition, cast iron may be gray, high-strength or conversion cast iron and as crude ferronickel. Cast iron comprises ingredients, ratios of components being as follows wt.%: carbon, 2.5- 5.0; silicon, 0.6-2.8; manganese, 0.5-2.0; chrome, 1.0- 3.0; cobalt, 0.15-1.0; molybdenum, 0.03-0.8; vanadium 0.055-0.8; titanium, 0.01-0.3; and iron, the balance. Higher range of service properties of the final products is attained due to formation of macro-and microstructure. EFFECT: high strength characteristics of cast iron and wider range of use thereof at titanium to vanadium ratio of 1:3 in the cast iron. 1 ex, 3 tbl
