FIELD: road-building industry. SUBSTANCE: arrangement of separate grade crossing can be used in building and reconstruction of crossing units of main motor roads primarily in urban conditions. Separate grade crossing comprises crossing of main lower-lying motor road and secondary upper-lying motor road, underpass, two right-turn departure ramps, two left-turn departure ramps adjoining each other on part of their length with creation of common carriage way which actually is continuation of carriage way of secondary motor road, and having diverging and converging zones of main motor road separated by guide island. Separate grade crossing is provided with two additional left-turn loop-like departure ramps. One of these departure ramps is located between main motor road and one of right-turn departure ramps and it is combined with this right-turn departure ramp on larger part of length, except sections of diverging and converging. This additional departure ramp and right-turn departure ramp at combining section are made with common carriage way for double-way traffic. Other additional left-turn departure ramp has carriage way intended for one-way traffic. Separate grade crossing is provided with two additional guide isles located in zones of converging and diverging of additional loop-like left-turn departure ramp and right-turn departure ramp which is combined with loop-like left-turn departure ramp. Application of aforesaid arrangement of separate grade crossing allows for improving redistribution of traffic flows, increasing traffic capacity together with upgrading of traffic safety conditions.
