FIELD: road-building industry. SUBSTANCE: arrangement of separate grade crossing can be used in building new and reconstruction of existing different-level crossing units of motor roads primarily in urban conditions. Separate grade crossing includes crossing of motor roads located at different levels, overpass in upper-lying motor road, two loop-like left-turn departure ramps and two right-turn departure ramps located at one side with respect to lower-lying motor road, and two loop-like left-turn departure ramps and two right-turn departure ramps located at other side with respect to lower-lying motor road. Upper-lying motor road is made ramified in the form of two branch lines each intended for one-way traffic in opposite direction with creation of additional underpass in one of branch lines and two additional left-turn loop-like departure ramps which connect branch lines of above-lying motor road. Additional loop-like departure ramps are located at different sides of lower-lying motor road with orientation of carriage way camber towards lower-lying motor road. One of additional loop-like departure ramps in combination with main left-turn loop-like departure ramp closest to it as to direction of traffic creates right-turn S-shaped departure ramp. Application of aforesaid arrangement of separate grade crossing allows for improving redistribution of traffic flows, preventing jams on motor roads, increasing traffic capacity together with ensuring safety travel.
