FIELD: turnstile devices. SUBSTANCE: this unit can be used in turnstile devices installed at check-points for two-way passage of authorized personnel. Unit has hub freely seated on shaft up to rest with cross-members of spider, and spring-biased roller. Recess is made in shaft on axis of spider symmetry against spring-biased roller. Introduced in turnstile unit is lever having slot. One arm of lever is installed on hub by means of axle. Another lever has two dowels with displacement of axes. Roller is installed on first of these two levers. Other arm of lever is kept under force of spring. Axes of dowels are located in common straight line with axis of spider symmetry. One of dowels can move within slot, other dowel can be turned through 180 deg. Application of aforesaid embodiment of spider connecting unit in turnstile with levers of first and second order allows for manufacture of strong and wear-resistant mechanism with easy operation of splittable connecting unit of two coaxially located bodies adapted for rotation both simultaneously and separately.
