FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices which are installed at check-points and it can be used for double-way passing of personnel. Turnstile has supporting platform and rotor with barring arms. Rotor together with arms can be raised. Installed above rotor shaft is stop, and seated in interval between shaft end face and stop is key which can be moved out of this interval. Stop can be made in the form of cap which covers rotor raising mechanism. Cap is fastened on supporting platform. Hole which is coaxial with shaft can be made in upper part of cap. Key can be made in the form of axle-mounted spring-biased lever. Aforesaid embodiment of turnstile due to introduction of rotor locking members in it allows for effective control of its mechanism. Substantially improved is reliability of preventing unauthorized access to guarded object. Made easier is operation of check-point personnel. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
