LOCKING DEVICE OF TURNSTILE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices intended for blocking rotors of turnstiles used for preventing unauthorized access into buildings, premises and other guarded objects. Locking device of turnstile has controlled blocking members in the form of pins which can prevent movement of blockable members in direction which is perpendicular to axes of pins. Blockable members are made in the form of spring-biased turning levers which interact with rotor of turnstile over its periphery. Pins are mounted on ends of spring-biased rocker. Turning levers can have recesses in their ends which form socket configurated as semicircle. Component of turnstile rotor which interact with spring-biased turning levers can be made in the form of semicircle. Device can be provided with protective-supporting shackles. Turnstile with aforesaid embodiment of locking device is simple in service, very reliable in prescribed function and highly efficient. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
