FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: each blade of windmill-driven turbine has tip made in the form of entrance part of airfoil with curved center line over circle of revolution of its center of gravity and free-to-turn plane; side surfaces of tip stretch from extreme entrance edge to maximal thickness of complete airfoil; free- to-turn plane is hinged to vertical shaft by means of rods whose length corresponds to distance between axis of revolution of free-to-turn plane and ends of tip. Airfoil tip of blade has two easily turning parts joined together by hinge with vertical axis of revolution which is mounted at extreme entrance point of tip where extreme positions of free-to-turn quadrant of each part depend on center line of tip and position of parts in which entrance part of airfoil is formed. One of extreme positions of free-to-turn sector of blade turning plane depends on optimal angle of attack between center of turning plane and direction of air flow from axis of revolution of turbine to that of wind screen; other extreme position depends on optimal angle of attack between center of turning plane and direction of opposing air flow. Each wind screen is located in free-to-turn sector where extreme positions depend on straight line crossing axes of revolution of turbine and wind screen as well as by tangent to circumference formed due to rotation of extreme outer point of turning plane crossing axis of revolution of wind screen.
