FIELD: recovery of radioactive wastes containing surface-active materials by evaporation. SUBSTANCE: method involves separation of liquid wastes free from surface-active materials up to salt saturation, separation of amorphous suspended matter produced in the process, mixing of concentrate with liquid wastes containing surface-active materials, and additional evaporation up to salt saturation. In the process, foaming ability of liquid wastes reduces two to four times and maximum salt concentration is raised in absence of sedimentation of crystal salts forming potentially dangerous monolithic layer in storage. EFFECT: improved safety of radioactive waste disposal. 1 tbl, 1 ex
