FIELD: recovery of radioactive wastes by solidifying them. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing of liquid radioactive wastes with crushed granular blast-furnace slug, spent filter perlite of nuclear power station, and calcium mud of nuclear station vat concentrate alkalized to pH = 14.4-14.5 in mass proportion of 1.0:1.4 - 2.1:0.10- 0.20:0.15-0.25. Mixture is allowed to solidify for 28 days. Solidified products obtained contain 39-49% of radioactive materials while retaining their strength above 5 MPa and high water resistance. EFFECT: improved quality of solidified products. 1 tbl, 5 ex
