FIELD: food engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing with product charging branch pipe, product discharge branch pipe, steam supply branch pipes and two steam distributors. Each steam distributor has perforated pipe and perforated cylinder positioned within casing in axially aligned relation so as to define annular gap for passage of food product. Perforations in pipe and cylinder are formed as Laval nozzles. Steam distributors are formed of permanent magnets with opposed arrangement of poles.
