FIELD: equipment for metal continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: plant has mold with wide and narrow walls made for motion, tundish with immersion casting dead-bottom nozzle whose side surface of lower part has through holes for metal discharge. Additionally, external and internal surfaces of nozzle are conical with generating line parallel to surfaces of walls located at angle to vertical. In addition, axes of outlet holes of nozzle in its installation into mold are parallel to surface of walls located vertically. Height b and width a of nozzle outlet hole are related as b/a=4-6. EFFECT: higher production efficiency, increased yield of standard castings, improved quality of casting surface and internal structure, and higher stability of immersion casting nozzle. 2 cl, 3 dwg
