FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, manufacture of diamond rock-cutting tools such as diamond crown bits, drilling bits and reamers. SUBSTANCE: method includes placing into mold of diamond grains and matrix material, introduction of activator, pressing and impregnation with binding metal. Matrix material includes aluminum in amount of 2.5-3.5% of matrix material weight. Activator is used in form of saturated alcohol-aqueous solution of tin dichloride in amount of 2.0- 3.0% of weight of matrix material. EFFECT: higher endurance of diamond tool. 1 ex
