FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in building of bridges, overpasses on motor roads, including in hard engineering and geological conditions. Conjunction of bridge and embankment has device for taking vertical load from span structure. Device is in the form of supports installed on foundation with head-piece carrying span structure and adapter plate. One end of adapter plate is located on upper wall of head-piece. Other end of adapter plate rests on crushed-stone pad. Also provided is strutting wall for taking horizontal load from side pressure of embankment ground. Strutting wall is installed with clearance at front side relative to supports of device for taking vertical load. Conjunction is provided with resilient base which carries strutting wall. Resilient base is made in the form of two bands of three-dimensional geogrates filled with compacted gravel. Located between bands is layer of compacted draining ground enclosed in crossing longitudinally and laterally rows of geotextile materials with creation of anchor rolls of gravel along edges. Lower band of three-dimensional geogrates is located on layer of compacted gravel. Strutting wall is made with slope at front side. Angle of incline of slope with respect to vertical line corresponds to ratio of 20:1. Strutting wall is of fortified ground together with alternating interlayers of geotextile material and compacted draining ground. Provided in lower part of clearance between front side of strutting wall and supports of device for taking vertical load is draining unit made of gravel. Foundation of supports have piles which are combined by framework. Application of aforesaid embodiment of conjunction between bridge and embankment ensures operational reliability and allows for wider potential use together with less materials needed for construction.
