FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use in opencast mining operations in permafrost conditions. According to method, rock mass is stabilized by anchors with fortifying it by injection of polymeric resins. Fixing of locking part of tubular anchors is performed beyond zone of seasonal thawing of rock matter by filling locking part of tubular anchors with hardening solution. Injection of polymeric resins in zone of seasonal thawing of rock matter is effected through perforations in tubes. End mouths of tubular anchors are closed at positive temperatures of environmental medium, and at negative temperatures they are opened and inserted into them are polymeric pipes of smaller diameter and length. Application of aforesaid method allows for increasing stability of quarry benches in permafrost conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwg
