GEAR FOR CONTINUOUS GAS EXTRACTION OF VOLATILE COMPONENT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: analytical chemistry, analysis of solutions. SUBSTANCE: gear includes reaction bubbler to conduct reaction with formation of volatile component and absorption bubbler connected to it to absorb volatile component. Reaction bubbler is manufactured in the form of cylinder having same diameter along height. Diameter and height of cylinder are chosen from condition of gas space above reaction solution which is much less than volume of solution proper. Inside cylinder there is positioned fixture for injection of gas-extracting agent made in the form of two tubes arranged concentrically, external and internal. External tube has union for injection of gas- extracting agent into circular clearance between tubes. Absorption bubbler is U-shaped, one knee of it presents tube and is used as connecting link with reaction bubbler and the other knee is made of several balls rigidly joined in series.
