FIELD: materials for electronics. SUBSTANCE: given material is produced from particles of diamond intercoupled by means of graphite-like carbon matrix. . Size of particles does not exceed 60.0 μ. Content of carbon matrix in material should not exceed 35 per cent by mass. Diamond powders with particles smaller than 20.0 nm, so called ultradispersive diamond or nanodiamond, as well as mixtures of specified powder and diamond micropowders with particle size from 0.1 to 60.0 μ can be used too. Technical result of invention consists in production of material which shows stability and reproducibility of emission properties, homogeneity of emission properties on surface of material, sufficiently high level of conductivity necessary for use as material for emitters in combination with low threshold of emission which provides for manufacture of planar emitters of large areas. EFFECT: enhanced characteristics of material. 3 cl
