FIELD: miscellaneous space objects. SUBSTANCE: satellite-mounted sensor supplied with power from solar batteries is oriented beyond the Earth. Electromagnetic waves are radiated by means of sensor into space, signals reflected from external bodies are received and sorted out using calculated point of rendezvous and kinetic energy of collision between satellite and external body in case of their interaction as criterion of this procedure. After sensor has received electromagnetic waves reflected from most dangerous body, satellite is conveyed to safe orbit. EFFECT: provision for preventing collision between space vehicles and external bodies. 4 dwg
