FIELD: medicine, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: type phage suspensions are put on the solid nutrient medium as a single dose and uniform dosage using replicator. The latter is a disk with uniformly fitted metallic capillaries having through holes on it. Ratio of the capillary face section area sum and surface of solid medium is 0.011-0.016. Then the analyzed culture sample is put and incubated. Decoding plate containing a signature applied congruently to a replicator is put under the bottom of each of plates by turns. Phagolysis zones are recorded on each plate and evaluated their by 4-cross system. Construction of replicator provides the precise dosage of phages applied on the surface of solid medium. Filling capillaries by matrix with cells fitted congruently to capillaries provides the constant order of phages disposition that is copied on decoding plate. Assigned ratio of capillary section and medium surface ratio regulated based on diagnostic working phage titers prevents the fusion of lysis zones at large amount of phages used.
