FIELD: metallurgy, namely technique for manufacturing one-piece rolled railway road wheels. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of optimizing temperature of deformation completion and temperature of quenching wheel, namely maintaining temperature of completing plastic deformation in range 960 C-980 C, wheel temperature before strengthening - in range 940 C -780 C at duration of afterdeformation pause before quenching no more than 150 s. EFFECT: possibility of providing necessary properties of disc and rim of wheel due to strengthening after heating at rolling process until level corresponding to heat treatment at separate heating step. 2 tbl
