FIELD: underwater acoustics, acoustic systems determining direction to source of high-power pulse acoustic signals. SUBSTANCE: for increase of accuracy of finding direction to source and for determination of distance to it acoustic finder is supplemented with switch S1 and (n-1) networks of two channels connected in parallel and incorporating band-pass filters 11 and 14, 17 and 20, amplifiers 12 and 15, 19 and 22 whose two inputs are connected to proper outputs of capacitor 3 and whose outputs are linked via switch S1 to two inputs of subtracter 7. Band-pass filters are tuned to frequencies 2f, 3 f,...nf, where f is frequency of acoustic signal which bearing is taken and n of amplitude meters 23, 24, 25 of signals with frequencies f, 2f, 3f, . . .nf which inputs are connected to outputs of detectors 10, 16, 22 of second channels of corresponding networks and which outputs are linked to computer 27 whose output is connected to third input of device 26 for information display.
