FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: noncollinear optical filter incorporates polarizer, light-acoustic line in the form of parallelepiped and analyzer installed in sequence in path of light. Lower edge of light-acoustic line carries converter adapted for excitation of ultrasonic waves with different directions of propagation of phase and group speed, upper edge of light-acoustic line houses ultrasound absorber. Light-acoustic line of filter is built on base of isotropic piezoelectric crystal which upper edge carries additional ultrasound absorber. Converter has form of lattice of metal electrode of interdigitated type excite in counterphase. EFFECT: simplified design of filter, expanded range of its operational light wave lengths. 7 dwg
