FIELD: metalworking. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for restoring and strengthening parts operated under abrasive wear and impact load conditions, for example, parts of track and road machines. Cavities on working surfaces of parts are filled with granulated tungsten carbide alloy. Surface is then covered with powdered blend containing 80% of cobalt alloy and 20% of boron-containing flux to form 3-3 mm layer observing tungsten carbide-to-powdered blend weight ratio from 40:60 to 60:40. Cavities on surface, spaced by two diameters from each other, are made with diameter 12-15 mm to the depth 2.0-3.0 mm. They are arranged in two checkered rows 20-25 mm from each other. EFFECT: improved restoration quality. 3 cl, 5 dwg
