FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: automatic device has transporter-stacker common to sections of electrode catching, lifting and transportation. Container is positioned on platform-lift with drive reversing roller conveyer. Platform-lift is arranged inside frame under cantilever part of transporter-stacker. Platform-lift is provided with device which balances mass of platform-lift with roller conveyer and container. Electrode catching section of transformer--stacker has controllable slope angle. Bush- and-roller chains of transporter-stacker are hinge- connected to other by common carrying axles. Links- plates and chain rollers are mounted on axles. Links- plates are placed between chain rollers. Links-plates are provided with cells-seats made of nonmetallic materials for catching and arranging of electrodes. Control system of mechanism drives represented by inductive pickups and controlled actuating clutch and brake ensures positioning of platform-lift according to height of container shelves and operation of all mechanisms in automatic cycle.
