FIELD: mechanical engineering; civil engineering; mining industry. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic hammer body consists of two parts which are coupled to each other by thread and fixed by nut. Hammer head is mounted in central part of body for axial displacement. Lower part of body accommodates amplifier including spring-loaded cap and balls embraced by circular spring. In addition, lower part of body is provided with working tool attachment device consisting of spring and casing enveloped by rubber cover. Profiled recesses of casing contain pin. Handle damped by elastically deformed members from the side of body is pressed to upper part of body by means of threaded bushing. EFFECT: reduced vibration and air consumption. 4 dwg
