FIELD: tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic hammers. Hammer comprises working tool, casing with outlet channels, case accommodating hammer with through axial hole, which divides the body cavity into working and idle chambers, and cover with axial multichannel tube. Between casing and housing there is circular outlet chamber. Tube is provided with outlet radial channel connected with lengthwise output channel and bypass channel made in the form of a slot. Cover comprises angular channel and case comprises lengthwise channel and radial outlet channel. At hammer working run the bypass channel in the form of a slot and radial outlet channel are closed and tube bypass channel is open. At idle run the tube bypass channel is closed and radial outlet channel is open to allow air supply from working chamber to idle chamber. At opening of radial outlet channel air is released from idle chamber to atmosphere by means of radial outlet channel and longitudinal outlet channel in the tube, angular channel in the cover, longitudinal and radial outlet channels in the housing, outlet annular chamber and outlet channels in the casing.
EFFECT: invention results in increased force pulse at hammer acceleration during its working run.
