FIELD: manufacture of prestressed laminated articles. SUBSTANCE: thermoplastic layers are put on one another with subsequent moulding in the article at a temperature of 90 to 110 C. Each polyethylene sheet is prestressed to paper bed. Prior to moulding, the article is preheated to a temperature of 90 to 110 C for withdrawal of moisture and resin from the paper bed and for expansion of sheets. Then, the sheets are joined by superposition of one on another through paper beds preliminarily sharpened in thermosetting polymeric binder with reinforcing members put on them. Then, the articles are moulded under the effect of moulding pressure within 0.1 to 0.2 kg/sq. cm. After that the obtained laminated polymeric article is cooled down to complete thermal squeezing of polyethylene. EFFECT: reduced labour input and power consumption. 1 cl
