FIELD: mechanical engineering; compression ignition internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: nozzle is furnished additionally with air supply union, air feed channels in nozzle body, spacer and spray tip body. Spool installed in spray tip body controls air delivery depending on fuel pressure in spray tip, and rigidity of spool spring provides its opening at fuel pressure in system not exceeding injection pressure. Proposed design of nozzle makes it possible to use colliding of fuel and air jets for changing direction of flame cone over entire period of injection.
