FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: one radiating transducer is manufactured for radiation with wide directivity pattern. Several receiving transducers are mounted over tube circumference on different sides of radiating transducer at distance d along tube length. Chords dividing tube cross section into channels have binding point at place of arrangement of radiating transducer. Auxiliary receiving transducer is positioned opposite to radiating transducer and connected to microprocessor input. Radiating transducer is connected to ultrasonic generator controlled by microprocessor. Device ensures required accuracy of measurement under condition of abnormal or complicated distribution of velocities in flow. EFFECT: reduced time of measurement. 5 cl, 6 dwg
