Abstract RU 2186399 C2

FIELD: measurement of flow velocity of big river or canal of open lock. SUBSTANCE: two converters are placed at angle with direction of flow and are meant to transmit and receive ultrasonic signals. Commutation unit is connected to converters and is coupled to receiving and output amplifiers. Frequency modulation generator is connected to output amplifier and to univibrator. Univibrator is connected to unit generating controlling rectangular pulses that simultaneously controls output commutation unit. Attenuator is placed between output amplifier and output commutation unit. Receiving amplifier sends received signal to frequency discriminator through output commutation unit. Frequency discriminator is connected via pulse former to unit measuring tie interval. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy. 3 dwg
