FIELD: chemical technology of inorganic substances, more particularly technology of colored heat-light and atmosphere-resistant pigments used for paint materials and in manufacture of various types of ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method comprises adding soda to cobalt II chloride with concentration of 30-100 g/l with respect to metal to attain pH of not higher than 3-5 and subsequently adding hydrated aluminium oxide or zinc oxide and adding soda to the resulting mixture to content of 0.05-0.1 g/l in liquid phase of suspension.
