FIELD: oil industry; destruction of bottom deposits of mazout storages by introducing them in fuel fed for burning. SUBSTANCE: method includes dispersion of deposits to be regenerated in the course of mixing them with heated mazout. Dispersion and mixing procedure are performed in three stages. At first stage, dispersion and mixing are effected by means of low-speed mechanical facilities; at second stage, use is made of high-speed mechanical facilities which ensure development of cavitation process and, at third stage, use is made of flow-through hydrodynamic cavitation activator. EFFECT: increased productivity at reduced cost of regeneration. 9 cl, 4 dwg
