FIELD: nondestructive testing. SUBSTANCE: increased authenticity in detection of flaws in welds and correction of technological parameters of welding process are achieved thanks to usage of method of acoustic emission in which acoustic and emission test is carried out at stage of cooling of welds. In this case time interval of acoustic emission test is broken into individual time phases. Relation of parameters of acoustic emission in allocated time phases is employed in the capacity of criterion for rejection of defective welds. EFFECT: increased authenticity in detection of flaws in welds and correction of technological parameters of welding process.
