FIELD: search of primary deposits of gold. SUBSTANCE: method includes taking samples of quartz, preferably tectonically slackened and mineralized and of silty argillaceous or sand fractions. Quartz sample is ground and reduced to 50-100 g. Selected from silty-argilaceous or sand fractions is material sizing less than 1 mm and combined with ground and reduced sample of quartz. Common sample is reduced, ground and analyzed for indicator elements of mineralization and for associated elements. Analysis results are interpreted and pictured and serve as basis for search of deposit. EFFECT: higher degree of contrast and information content even in search of deposits found under technogenic alluvium of placer location. 2 cl
