FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has electric drive, body of which is made as U-shaped frame. Electric drive has two output shafts positioned coaxially at frame ends. Supporting appliance for one of adjacent segments which form joint is secured in middle part of frame by means of adjusting and fixing members. Second supporting appliance is coupled to output shafts of reduction gear through mechanism which imparts rotation between two misaligned shafts. Device is compact. It is secured directly on patient's arm or leg. It is provided with control system. Device is provided with auxiliary electric drives for developing the joints in two planes or reducing the load on joint surfaces. Device allows recovery of mobility in different joints providing for usual mode of passive motions and for unloading the surfaces of joints.
