FIELD: powder metallurgy, applicable in production of composite materials and cutting tools. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in electric blast of metal blanks having a coating of some other material, powders of brittle refractory nonmetallic and metal materials mixed with adhesive base are used as coating. Phenol-formaldehyde lacquer is used as adhesive base. Suspension of applied powder in adhesive base is applied onto the metal blank by drawing this blank through a die made in the vessel, which is preliminarily filled with suspension. EFFECT: production of powders of alloys and intermetallic compounds containing brittle refractory nonmetallic and metal components in ultradisperse state. 3 cl, 2 dwg
