METHOD OF TUNING OF PRESSURE TRANSDUCER AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to pressure differential transducers and methods of their tuning. Method of tuning of pressure transducer includes filling of internal spaces of transducer with fluid. Filling is checked by change of output signal of transducer. Novelty of method consists in loading of protective membranes of transducer with pressure equal to limiting working excessive pressure of transducer. Working fluid which pressure changes to obtain required signal of transducer is fed into internal spaces of transducer with the help of expulsor pumps. Protective membranes of transducer are loaded with compressed air through cocks and pipe-lines. Protective membranes are unloaded by communication of spaces with atmosphere. Device for tuning of pressure transducer incorporates reservoir with space for working fluid, vacuum pump, pipe-lines coupling reservoir with pressure transducer. Vacuum line is connected to atmosphere through cock. Reservoir is mounted on post for inclination. In vertical position of reservoir working fluid in its space is below level of shut holes of conduits connected to pressure transducer. Working fluid acts on transducer through conduits with the aid of expulsor pumps to generate required output signal.
