Abstract RU 2140093 C1

FIELD: forestalling of catastrophic after-effects of earthquakes. SUBSTANCE: seismic focus is located, holes are drilled and used to feed energy to seismic focus by emission of energy through them. Energy is fed in the form of radio waves. Wide- band radio wave antennas preferably worked deeper into layers of earth-crust with reduced conductance are used for feeding. Energy, preferably of reserve, from available energy system is used for generation of radio waves. More than one underground antenna is usually formed in each seism hazardous region. Underground radio antennas are formed well in advance of detection of location of seismic focus and are used to expose seismic focus. EFFECT: increased safety and timeliness of operations for reduction of store of energy in seismic focus. 3 cl, 3 dwg
